DEFINITION: Trees are plants having a permanently woody main stem or trunk , ordinary growing to a considerable height, and usually developing branches at some distance from the ground.
                                                          What does it do/what happens?
A tree is high. A tree is a wooden plant. A lot of trees have a big wooden stem called a trunk.  Trees are the biggest and the oldest thing living on earth. Some of the trees are alive for hundreds of years. Some other trees stay alive for a thousand years. Trees have more than 80,000 species. Trees are important because it gives us oxygen. Trees are also shelters for animals such as birds, squirrels, raccoons, bees and much more. The good trees include birches, firs, maples, palms, and pines. The scientist sometimes divide the trees into two groups because they are based on how they reproduce. Some of the trees that reproduce have spores. If we don’t have trees we have less oxygen. A lot of people grow trees to have more oxygen. If you have seed bearing trees you can grow fruits or pods. A lot of trees are usually more than 10 feet. Scientist will make a group of trees whether they lose leaves. Some of the trees that keep their leaves a year round are called evergreens.
