A plant can be two different types of things.

1.a tree, vine, shrub or herb planted or suitable for planting.
2.any of a kingdom of multicellular eukaryotic mostly photosynthetic organisms typically lacking locomotive movement, or sensory organs and possessing cellulose cell walls.

Plants are living organisms that are grouped into classes or categories. Trees, flowers, and vegetables are lust some examples for plants. It has been estimated that there are probably three- hundred- fifty- thousand species of different kinds of plants. Plants that live in ponds are specially adapted to suit the permanently wet conditions. Some pond plants such as water milfoil are entirely submerged under the water. Others have their roots in water, but the upper parts float on the surface, such as water lilies.

Few plants besides acacias trees grow in the dry parts of earth. Tropical plants grow in humid regions in the southwest. Malta’s Islands have few wild plants. Palms and breadfruit trees are the Marshall Island’s main trees. The Amazon region is the site of the world’s largest rainforest. Almost seventy-five percent of all plants in the world grow there.
