The ox is a very interesting animal .The ox is a very muscular and can be very aggressive.  The ox can charge at a speed of up to thirty five miles per hour. The ox was used for pulling carts and plowing fields. Its cousin the bull was used in a sport called bull fighting. On average the ox weighs in at about one thousand pounds. The females can weigh more than the males. Oxen were stronger than horses and much less expensive. Oxen were widely used for pulling large objects long distances. During the traveling west oxen were one of the most popular animals to be used to pull carts, carriages,  and many other types of wagons.

They're also very protective of their young, and will protect them at all costs. The male ox is generally more aggressive and will charge at almost anything that it doesn’t feel comfortable around. The male ox will also charge at anything that enters its territory. The ox can charge at a speed of up to thirty five miles per hour.

Oxen eat
Oxen eat many things and one of those things is grass. In fact grass is the main thing oxen eat. Oxen eat lots of grass, and they can eat their weight in grass once every month. The oxen will swallow rocks to pulverize food in their stomachs that they have a hard time digesting.

Where do oxen live
The ox lives in grassy planes and is capable of living in higher spaces. The ox is well known in Europe, North America, South America, and Africa. The oxen are also known for living on prairies.
