Mountain Goat
 


The mountain goat  stay in packs. Goats are hairy and they have four legs. They call the male goats Billy. Most goats are smaller then sheep. Goats do not eat tin cans or other trash. Goats are intelligent, social   animals that usually live in herds. Young goats are know as kids until they are old enough to reproduce sexually. Goats live to be about 15 years old. Most goats have a long beard on the chin. The goats tail is short and turns up ward. A few hours after birth the kids are able to follow their mothers around. A goat is a hoofed mammal in the genus copra. Most goats are referred to as domestic. A female is called a doe. Not all goats are just used for human provisions. A lot of people keep goats as pets.  They have many similarities to sheep.  Like sheep goats enjoy being in a herd. Female goat are called nannies. In the spring a nanny goat gives birth to one kid. Mountain goats are powerful, but nimble and can jump nearly 12 feet (3.5meters) in a single bound. In the spring a nanny goat gives birth to one kid. Mountain goats are not true goats, but they are close relatives. They are more properly know as goat antelopes. Their dazzling white coats provide good camouflage on the snowy heights. During the more moderate summer season goats shed this goat.
